At
Emmanuel Church
we provide a safe, comfortable learning experience for our children.
Parents along with the young people provide a rich environment of
activities and lessons based on Biblical principles.
We
also provide a supervised nursery for our morning services at 9 am and
11 am each Sunday.
We
like to invite you
to come and worship with us, during either
service, while your children have the opportunity to enjoy a variety
of activities.
Sunday School starts at 9:30 am (except during the summer - call the church at 768-7638
for more information.) The 11 am service provides Childrens' Church at
11:30 am which combines some
of the age groups into larger groups for a variety of stories and activities.
A
class for every age and stage .
Cherylee
and her helper teach the 3 yr olds. Here they are taking a carrot-
break. This is probably the lesson on sharing, looks like the boys
were away!
Once
in awhile the 4 yr olds need a little help with a project, that is
where Jessica and Chelcee come to the rescue. That looks like one of
the pastors' children .... sitting. Rarely find -Dad- doing any of that!
Randy
and Simone provide some guidance to the Kindergarten class.
Like many young families in the church they provide an integral part
of the church ministry, not only to the children but to the whole
church community.

Ellen
and Meagan provide a little help to the Grade 1 class. Besides
providing a valuable service to the children and the church, it also
provides many young people the opportunity to explore teaching or
child care as a future career.

Margo
and Deb teaching the Grade 2 class a chorus with some actions.
Always helps to get the "wiggles" out before settling down
for the Sunday school lesson.
Our
grade 3 teacher is Janice, who is always on the go.... gone!
Daryl our grade 4 teacher with an object lesson for his class. Here
he is showing how lies can grow until they are very hard to break.
Like many small strands of thread become a strong rope.
And
finally our Route 456 who probably don't want to be on a Children's
webpage, but consider it your last chance to act "rational"
before you get to the teen website.
Dave teaching the Grade 5 & 6 class, these kids are sharp, and
sure to keep Dave on his toes. I don't think Dave is too worried.
In
Conclusion:
To
Linda the Sunday school superintendent and the many helpers who
assist in the classrooms. To the volunteers who put in many hours of
effort into the Kidz Church, Christmas programs, Fall Carnival parties and sports programs for the children. I would just like to
say a big "Thank You!",
as a parent of one of these many children. I am sure my
"appreciation of your efforts" are echoed by many other
parents that call Emmanuel Church their Home church.
OK,
where are the Halloween treats?
This
costume has a trunk for a reason ..... right. |
